Telenor Invites Students to Become Part of its Youth Summit in Oslo Information:

Telenor Pakistan has announced that starting today it is accepting applications from students who want to be part of Telenor Youth Summit to be held in December in Oslo, Norway.
Telenor Group, earlier last month, had announced its second edition of Youth Summit that is organized in collaboration with the Nobel Peace Center and will also coincide with Nobel Peace Prize event.
According to Telenor, students between 18 to 25 who believe that mobile and digital technologies can bring social change and create opportunities for masses should come forward with the ideas to become part of group’s Youth Summit in Oslo.
Selected participants from 14 markets (where Telenor operates) including Pakistan will get a chance to present and share their ideas towards bringing positive social change through the use of mobile communication and internet.

Last year, two young Pakistanis Saad Hamid and Awais Imran were selected from over 260 entries to represent Pakistan at the inaugural Telenor Youth Summit. Saad Hamid presented his initiative titled ’60 second education project’ while Awais Imran gathered the laurels of his peers through his idea ‘Learning a new language using Mobile ICT’.
